Aggressively floofy - Ep. 29

It’s time to check in on my knitting adventures! I’ve made some progress on my Nighthawk slipover, but mostly I’ve been busy with a secret test knit. And swatching, so much swatching on future cast-on’s.

Episode 28: Cutting a steek in my Skye

This week I have prepared a bit of vloggy content! I decided to make my failed Skye pullover into a win - you can watch me put a steek into it and transform it into a cozy oversized cardigan. Also I’ve completed the Timothy pullover for my kid, made some progress on my Nighthawk vest and started swatching for the Yell cardigan! ❤️

Episode 27: Finding joy in knitting

Consider the Fair-isle knit a long officially underway! A hashtag (#FairisleVestKAL) has been used over on instagram, a group created on Ravelry (link below). In todays episode I show the progress on my Nighthawk vest and a small knit for the boy and talk a bit about why knitting and making this podcast is important to me.

Episode 26: Finally finished my Lapwing!

Happy days! My Lapwing pullover has been finished! And by finished I mean bound off, ends woven in and even blocked. Whoa! So tune in and you finally get to see it in it’s finished splendor. I’m also sharing some amigurumi progress, being secretive about a test knit I’m doing and even more about colour swatches. But I have decided on a colourway for my fair-isle vest!

Episode 25: New mitts! And old favourites

It was a rainy day when I did this recording, so I’ve pulled some old favorites out of my knitting wardrobe to bundle up in. Showing off the finished pair of mitts and *still* working on the last sleeve of my Lapwing (which I consistently called Levenwik throughout the video 😅).

Episode 24: That last sleeve

Taking a break from shawl-knitting (that chevron border seemed so big), I’ve committed to finishing up the last sleeve of my Lapwing. At the same time I’ve cast on for a pair of quickly knitted mitts to be gifted this week for my mum’s birthday.

Episode 22: Knit all the vests! And wear them. Maybe.

Checking in with my progress on Fantastitch shawl and the beginnings of amigurumi dragon Dirk. Short and sweet since I've not knitted much since last week. 😏 I have however compiled a not so short list of fair isle vests and waistcoats to inspire! Perhaps I'll even manage to work one into my wardrobe in the future?

Episode 21: Back to the future with Fantastitch

Check in on my progress on the Fantastitch shawl, take a look at my Rocquaine pullover and listen to me speak about my latest knit and wool obsessions. Spring has sprung in my little corner of Norway and even if there were some technical hiccups along the way for this episode it turned out to be a bit longer than usual.
