Warm winter socks and new cast-ons - Ep. 34

I made some socks! And I went a bit mad for the Buness fair-isle hats.

Wearing

Baggy Wave Dress by Pickles. A worsted weight knitted dress with textured pattern I knitted in Pickles Tweedy.

Bound off

3 x Buness by Mary Jane Mucklestone. Knitted hats with fair-isle motifs published in the book “Fair isle weekend” that you can get in your LYS or from Laine Publishing. My hats were made in Finull by Rauma and Shetland Spindrift.

Taival Socks by @Sari Nordlund. Top down hand knit socks with cable texture in DK weight non-superwash rustic yarn Vandre by Rauma.

On my needles

Vesle Vinterfjell by @Skeindeer Knits. A top down colourwork pullowver for child 1-2 years. Making it in the trusty Finull.

Harbour Cowl by Andrea Williamson is a fair-isle colourwork cowl in bright graphic colours. Published in the “Shetland Wool Week Annual 2021”. I’m knitting mine in colours matched from Finull by Rauma’s palette.
