Keeping cozy mid-winter with lots of colourful fair-isle knitting. There are so many new cast-ons!

Wearing

Lovage is a colourwork yoke pullover by Marie Wallin. This pattern is published in the “Windswept” collection. You can also buy it separately on Ravelry or Love Crafts. 

I’ve knitted mine up in Brooklyn Tweed Loft - The primary colour is “Foothills” check out my Ravelry project page for all the colourways listed.

Bound off

Matching mittens for Cairngorm
Winging the mitten pattern and using the charts from the hat as reference. Find it on Ysolda’s website.

On my needles

The Harbour Cowl by Andrea Williamson is nearly done! This is a fair-isle colourwork cowl in bright graphic colours. Published in the “Shetland Wool Week Annual 2021”, I’m making mine in Finull by Rauma.

Vesle Vinterfjell by Skeindeer Knits
Top down colourwork knitting for child 1-2 years. Yoke and body completed, only needs sleeves now. As usual, it is made in Finull by Rauma.

Spiralling Cables Triangle by Stephen West in Pure wool from Pickles and Zauberball Stärke 6. This textured triangle shawl shows off the variegated yarn nicely.

Boulevardier by Thea Coleman is a textured worsted weight pullover knit flat. I have completed the front piece! Making mine in Lanolin Wool yarn from Dale held double with Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn.
